The way my booking process works is that everyone on my email list will get monthly emails with my upcoming availability. I will send these out about 6-8 weeks prior to the dates being booked, so there is plenty of time to plan for travel, find outfits, schedule haircuts, etc. This process should allow clients to pick and choose a month/date that works best for them. These spots are first come first served once released and do go very quickly, so please keep an eye out for my email if you have a specific month in mind you were hoping for. I will always post a heads up on Instagram the day before these emails are to go out, so be sure to follow along there for updates on when these will be going out.

Please note that I book about 2 months out and spots are first come first served when released, so please plan ahead and reach out with plenty of time before your desired month. It is never too early to reach out!

In my opinion, there isn’t a right or wrong age for portraits. Each child has their own personality (part of what I love about this job) and it varies greatly from child to child. If they can sit still for 5-10 minutes, that is usually all I need! I book 15 minutes per child to ensure we have plenty of time in case they need a little time to warm up. You know your child best and if you feel they are developmentally and emotionally ready!

  My only age requirement is that babies must be able to sit up well unassisted. I do not use bumbo seats so they need to be sitting upright without any assistance (not sitting tripod style) and need to be able to hold head up steadily without assistance for portraits. These developmental milestones happen at different ages for each child, but typically 10 months is the youngest age recommended.

Your session includes up to 15 minutes of session time (per child), post processing time and 5 digital images (per child) selected by you from your proofing gallery.

Fine art prints and framed products are sold a la carte and are highly recommended as they are made to last the test of time.

Being a mom of two young little ones myself, I understand that sickness unfortunately happens!
My rule of thumb is if a child is sick 24 hours prior to their session, they will likely not be well enough to come for their session. I kindly ask that you give me 24 hours or more notice if at all possible. Please note that make-up sessions rescheduled due to sickness are subject to photographer’s availability .

At the time of booking, you will place a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit reserving the specific date and time of your choosing for your child’s session. If for any reason you are unable to attend your scheduled date and time, you will have the ability to rejoin my monthly e-mail distribution list for future session dates, but must pay a new retainer for whichever future date you choose. 

My main goal of each session is to focus on each child’s individual portraits. If both siblings are booked for portraits with me (must be booked back to back) and we have time leftover at the end of capturing their individual portraits, I am happy to snap a few sibling portraits. I do not currently offer sibling portraits if both children are not booked for sessions.

All print labs are not created equal! I made it my mission to find a professional lab for my clients who specializes in black and white printing and offers the highest quality cotton rag paper and archival inks. I am more than happy to help you place a print order after your session! My ultimate goal is for these keepsakes to end up on the walls of your home to be adored by your family for years to come.
